I’m working on a series of paintings of nice people eating. This was unfortunately taken with my cellphone.

I’ve been fascinated by Robert Goulet for the past decade. Before he passed away, he put some weird art on his website. I especially enjoy his work entitled “Critics.”

Daniel was famous for busking outside of the Army and Navy in Edmonton. Now I see him in Vancouver. Pretty great.

I did a set at Arrogance last night at the Biltmore, here in Vancouver. Other people’s sets were so funny milk came out of my nose. (I wasn’t drinking milk.)
It’s hosted by Taz Van Rassel and Dave Shumka. Jon Dore and Lynn Shawcroft were sooo good. Click here to check out the Arrogance on Facebook.

So funny. Warning: don’t watch unless you like foul language and driving dogs.

I saw 6 shows in 2 days. The Comedy Death Ray Podcast was amazing. CDR had Nick Thune, Garfunkle and Oates, Todd Barry, Reggie Watts and Paul F Tompkins as Ice-T in a crummy conference room. Couldn’t have been better.
The Andy Kindler Talk Show was also in the conference room and fantastic. Twelve people in a small room watching Kindler and Josh Fadem interview Tig Notaro, Brent Weinbach James Adomian and Tom Arnold. Resilientrabbit.com has some sweet coverage of one of the shows.
I also saw Maria Bamford destroy the crowd twice at the Vogue, but I left the festival loving Tig Notaro the most.

I love Jared Hess. He is the director of Nacho Libre and Napoleon Dynamite. I’m excited about his new film, Gentlemen Broncos. So I did this today:

It would make more sense if you clicked here.

Since Zach Galifianakis got super famous I’ve been looking for a place to put my affection towards comedy beards. I’ve found that place.
