The Art Gallery of Alberta put a bar in one of the gallery spaces upstairs. The opening last night was packed. Tons of people, and the bar itself was tight.
As far as the art went, the show was BODY: New Art from the U.K. Sarah Lucas had some smashing self portraits, and Tracy Emin also had some beautiful work.

There was a modern dance happening – just off the High Level bridge in Edmonton on Wednesday. The best part was the confused faces of the drivers looking at people in tutus dancing at crosswalks. It was put on by Mile Zero Dance. Here’s some photos:
